Ahmar Abbas is Sr. VP of Infrastructure Management at San Jose, CA based CSS Corp. Prior to that, he was VP of Managed Hosting Services at Blackboard Inc. He is the founder of Grid Technology Partners, a consulting firm. A veteran of leading companies on the East Coast and Silicon Valley, Abbas has also held senior management positions at ONI Systems, Zaffire Inc and UUNET Inc. He started his career at Salomon Brothers. He is the author/editor of Grid Computing: A Practical Guide to Technology and Applications (Delmar Thomson, 2004).

Anant Agarwal, Co-Founder & CTO of Tilera, is a professor of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at MIT and a member of the CSAIL Laboratory. His teaching and research interests include computer architecture, VLSI, compilation, and software systems. Dr. Agarwal served as Associate Director of the MIT Laboratory for Computer Science (LCS) between 1998 and 2003, and is a co-leader of the Oxygen Project.

He led a group that developed Sparcle (1992), an early multithreaded microprocessor based on the SPARC architecture, and the Alewife machine, a scalable shared-memory multiprocessor (1993). At MIT's CSAIL laboratory, Dr. Agarwal led the Raw project which developed a tiled multicore microprocessor for instruction level parallelism (ILP) and streams (2002). Dr. Agarwal also led the VirtualWires project at MIT.

He has been a founder of several successful start-ups, including Virtual Machine Works, Inc. (1993). Dr. Agarwal won the Maurice Wilkes prize for computer architecture in 2001, the Presidential Young Investigator award in 1991, and the Louis D. Smullin Award for teaching excellence at MIT in 2005. He holds a Bachelor Degree from IIT Madras and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Jan Aleman is CEO of Servoy. He is one of the most distinguished thought leaders on Cloud Computing in the world. As secretary of EuroCloud compendium (www.eurocloud.org), he has been a disruptive technology visionary leading the cloud revolution in computing. He is a published author and heavily quoted in many IT journals such as InfoWorld, Computerworld, Dr. Dobbs and others, as well as guest and keynote speaker at many cloud computing conferences worldwide. Aleman is also on the steering committee of the ICT Office SaaS/Cloud Group.

Allen Allison is Chief Security Oficer at NaviSite. During his 20+ year career in information security, he has served in management and technical roles, including the development of NaviSite’s industry-leading cloud computing platform, chief engineer and developer for a market-leading managed security operations center, lead auditor and assessor for information security programs in the healthcare, government, e-commerce, and financial industries. With experience in systems programming, network infrastructure design/deployment and information security, Allison has earned the highest industry certifications, including CCIE, CCSP, CISSP, MCSE, CCSE, and INFOSEC Professional.

Dustin Amrhein joined IBM as a member of the development team for WebSphere Application Server. While in that position, he worked on the development of Web services infrastructure and Web services programming models. Joe Andrews is Group Manager, Product Marketing at VMware, and is responsible for marketing VMware’s cloud solutions. He has 17 years of experience in technology marketing, sales and IT business operations. Previously at VMware, he led virtualization marketing initiatives targeting the Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment. Prior to VMware, he worked at Intuit Corp. and iMarket Inc., a software division of Dun and Bradstreet, in various product, channel and field marketing roles as well as IT business consulting. Joe received a BA in Economics from Brandeis University.

Neil Ashizawa is senior manager of SaaS Products and Cloud Solutions for the Software & Solutions organization at HP. In this role, he leads product management across HP SaaS services and has product management responsibility over HP SaaS solutions geared toward helping customers gain business confidence in the cloud.

Ashizawa has more than 12 years of experience and has held several roles at HP and Mercury Interactive Corporation, now part of HP. He worked in Educational Services at Mercury, where he managed all technical courseware development and certification management. Prior to this role, he worked in Professional Services and helped to build initial quickstart and bootcamp models to assist customers in gaining immediate value with their functional testing and load testing tools.

Simon Aspinall is Sr. Director of Cisco's SP Marketing organization. He leads teams responsible for marketing Cisco’s mobility and data center solutions to Telecoms, Cable, Media and Broadcast customers worldwide. The team is responsible for developing, launching and driving successful marketing campaigns across the entire product range for Mobility and SP data-centers (including the evolution towards SP cloud computing). The strategic marketing activity includes a wide variety of virtual, viral and interactive marketing to complement traditional industry and direct marketing campaigns. Aspinall is a frequent speaker at industry events and a commentator on the IT, telecoms, and networking sectors.

Aspinall has held a number of senior management roles at Cisco across sales, marketing, business development and consulting. He has led the Internet Business Solutions Group (SP) in Europe and the IBSG SP worldwide mobile practice: driving, identifying, and developing new business opportunities with telecoms, broadcast and media operators for business and consumers. Other roles in Cisco include leading the European field operations team with responsibility for new business solutions, marketing, service consulting, business consulting, and ecosystem partners for the European telecoms business.

Troy Bailey is Vice President of marketing at Tilera Corporation. He has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and embedded systems development. Prior to joining Tilera, he spent four years as VP of Marketing Strategy at Shell Energy with responsibility for developing the marketing and sales organizations.

He started his 10-year career at Motorola in wireless product development, after which he joined Motorola's Semiconductor business where he managed the development of Java for embedded systems in partnership with Sun. In his final role at Motorola, Bailey led marketing strategy for wireless semiconductors. He holds four patents, a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Harsh Bajpai is a Principal Technologist with Unisys. His current, primary focus is within US Federal Department of Homeland Security. Harsh provides consultative solutions and approaches to Data Center Transformation.

Harsh joined Unisys from Thomson Reuters where he was the Director of Technology. In this role, Harsh managed the transition of the Reuters.com data center from an in-hosted model to a managed service, out-hosted model. Additionally, for Reuters, Harsh also managed the operations of software development outsourcing into Eastern Europe. Prior to Reuters, Harsh was with Dow Jones and Co. Inc. where he held several positions within the technology infrastructure group and the product management group of The Wall Street Journal.

Udayan Banerjee is CTO at NIIT Technologies Ltd, An IT industry veteran who started his career in 1977, he has 32 years' experience in the IT industry. Al is Global Product Manager for the Unisys Secure Cloud Program. He’s been with Unisys for over 35 years and has held many key engineering, program management and executive positions, most recently as Portfolio Director for the Real Time Infrastructure program at Unisys.

Nafisa Bhojawala is a Senior Program Manager on the Windows Intune team. Windows Intune is a simple, integrated service to empower IT Professionals to manage and secure their computers. Nafisa was mainly involved in the security, reporting and user experience of the first release of Windows Intune.

Ihab Bishara is the Director of Cloud Computing Products & Marketing at Tilera Corporation. With over 10 years of experience in product development, management, and marketing roles, he delivered multiple hardware and software products for the communication, multimedia, and cloud computing segments. Prior to Tilera, Bishara worked at Intel Corporation in various technical, marketing, and product management roles.

Tony is the Founder and CEO of Adaptivity. As Chairman and CEO, he leads the team and provides hands-on coaching, thought leadership and executive strategy support for the company's key clients and partners. He is an innovative IT executive, with an excellent track record in strategy, design, and the implementation of business-aligned enterprise technology platforms across large organizations. He most recently served as SVP and Chief Architect of Wachovia’s Corporate Investment Banking Technology Group, where his team designed, built, and implemented a leading-edge service-oriented architecture and utility computing infrastructure.

Darryl S. Brown is Director of Cloud, SaaS & Media at Telx. Prior to Telx, he was at Equinix and VPI Sytems. Brown was also previously the Global Director of Enterprise Marketing at Global Crossing where he managed the enterprise vertical to help develop and market converged, MPLS-based VPN services including VoIP and IP Video to multinational organizations ― all delivering more than $675M annually.

Jonathan Bryce is a founder of The Rackspace Cloud. He started his career working as a web developer for Rackspace, and during his tenure, he and co-worker Todd Morey had a vision to build a sophisticated web hosting environment where users and businesses alike could turn to design, develop and deploy their ideal web site — all without being responsible for procuring the technology, installing it or making sure it is built to be always available. This vision became The Rackspace Cloud. He currently spends his time on OpenStack, the open source cloud software initiative.

Larry Carvalho runs Robust Cloud, an advisory services company helping various ecosystem players develop a strategy to take advantage of cloud computing. As the 2010-11 Instructor of Cloud Expo's popular Cloud Computing Bootcamp, he has already led the New York and Prague bootcamps, receiving strong positive feedback from attendees about the value gained at these events. Carvalho has facilitated all-day sessions at customer locations to set a clear roadmap and gain consensus among attendees on strategy and product direction. He has participated in multiple discussion panels focused on cloud computing trends at information technology events, and he has delivered all-day cloud computing training to customers in conjunction with CloudCamps. To date, his role has taken him to clients in three continents.

Peter Chang is Founder & CEO of Oxygen Cloud. He designed Oxygen Cloud with the vision of simplifying daily file management and sharing by connecting all files, people, and devices to a single file system. He drives overall product and market development. Chang also founded LeapFILE, a secure file transfer provider he started in 2004 and bootstrapped to profitability. Before LeapFILE, he led product management and engineering for middleware and application infrastructure at Sonic Software, Raining Data, and Progress Software.

Scott Chasin is CTO McAfee Content & Cloud Security. He is widely recognized as a pioneer and leading visionary in the cloud security industry, having pioneered the development and marketing of several SaaS-based messaging, collaboration and security-focused technologies. He is credited with the launch of the first Web-based email consumer service, and delivered the first IP-based commercially hosted messaging service supporting thousands of businesses and millions of end users worldwide. Chasin also created and moderated the first full-disclosure security discussion list, Bugtraq, and was a key contributor to the creation of the first open-source, one-time password system, S/Key. Prior to its acquisition by McAfee in 2009, Chasin served as CTO of MX Logic. He was also CTO and Chief Visionary for USA.NET, helping establish the company as one of the first global providers of Internet-based email and advanced messaging services.

David Chou is a technical architect at Microsoft. His focus is on collaborating with enterprises and organizations in such areas as cloud computing, SOA, Web, distributed systems, and security. His involvement supports decision makers in helping them to define the appropriate evolutionary strategies in their architecture development. Drawing from his extensive experience at previously held positions with Sun Microsystems and Accenture, Chou enjoys helping his clients and customers create value by using objective and pragmatic approaches to create definitive IT strategies, roadmaps, and solution architectures. Max Coburn is Chief Architect and a product strategist for Hubspan Inc, a leading provider of cloud-based business integration solutions. He has over 20 years of software development and system architecting experience, with particular expertise in communications, security and Internet services. Prior to joining Hubspan, Coburn led strategy and development for sophisticated merchandising management and warehouse automation systems for leading game company, Nintendo. \While at Sierra Online (Cendant), hr implemented early Internet game-to-game communications with user chat and inter-gaming capabilities, while also architecting a complex rules engine to drive e-commerce initiatives. At Hubspan, he has architected much of the company’s proprietary integration application, including cutting-edge capabilities around security, PCI compliance, data sharding, caching and smart queuing, as well as a sophisticated business process language that enables complex choreographies and business rules. He also designs systems and features that enable intelligent interoperability across standards, formats and protocols in a cloud computing environment.

Reuven Cohen is Founder & Chief Technologist for Toronto- based Enomaly Inc. - leading developer of cloud computing products and solutions focused on enterprise businesses. A thought leader in the emerging cloud computing industry, Reuven maintains a blog at www.elasticvapor.com. Enomaly's products include the Enomalism elastic computing platform, an open source cloud platform that enables a scalable enterprise IT and local cloud infrastructure platform.

Adrian Cole is the founder of the open source jclouds project and CEO of Cloud Conscious, LLC. He also runs the Cloudhacker’s group in San Francisco, a regular gathering of cloud developer enthusiasts. His 17-year career in IT includes design and implementation of mass automation and deployment products for financial, hosting, and education contexts.

Rob Commins is Director of Product Marketing at 3PAR. With nearly fifteen years of data storage experience, he brings extensive knowledge of enterprise-class infrastructure, software, and services as well as industry trends and emerging technologies to his role. He came to 3PAR from Pillar Data Systems, where over his seven-year tenure he held several positions at the Director level—including Director of Worldwide Business Operations, Strategic Accounts, Product Management, and Strategic Accounts. Prior to Pillar, Commins held the role of Director of Product Marketing at StorageWay and Director of Enterprise Product Management at Fujitsu.

Bill Cox is Director of Cloud Strategy, Intel Software Services Group. Since joining Intel in 2007, he has led the Group's Cloud strategy efforts. Prior to joining Intel, he was Director of Systems Engineering at HP. During his 14 years at HP, he was responsible for the development of all infrastructure management tools used to manage the various server and storage platforms. In his 30+ years of industry experience,Cox has led the design of compute, network, and storage solutions and actively participated in multiple standards efforts.

Michael Crandell is the CEO and a founder of RightScale, where he provides the vision and direction for the company as it pioneers innovative ways to bring the power of cloud computing to any organization. Crandell is a frequent speaker at cloud computing industry conferences, and he has played a major role in helping establish and promote openness and transparency in the cloud market. Prior to RightScale, he served as CEO at several Internet Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) companies and as executive vice president at eFax.com. Crandell received his B.A. from Stanford University and completed graduate studies at Harvard University.

Tim Crawford is CIO of All Covered and an internationally renowned thought leader in the areas of Cloud Computing and IT Optimization Strategies. He has over 20-years of Information Technology experience in Operations, Infrastructure, Information Security and Core Applications. Areas of focus include Cloud Computing, Infrastructure Optimization and key game-changing strategies for IT organizations. He serves as an advisor to global enterprises, government agencies, venture capital firms and startups and has held senior IT leadership roles with global organizations such as Stanford University, Knight-Ridder, Philips Electronics, and National Semiconductor.

Crawford is co-chair of the SVLG Data Center Efficiency Summit and a core member of the consortium leading data center efficiency standards lead by the US DOE and US EPA. He regularly speaks at industry conferences and has written for leading publications. He serves on a number of boards including the Society for Information Management (SIM) and Data Center Pulse. He received an MBA in International Business with Honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems both from Golden Gate University.

Douglas Crockford, an architect at Yahoo!, is an AJAXWorld regular. A technologist of parts, he has developed office automation systems, done research in games and music at Atari, and been both Director of Technology at Lucasfilm and Director of New Media at Paramount. He was the founder and CEO of Electric Communities/Communities.com and the founder and CTO of State Software, where he discovered JSON. He is interested in Blissymbolics, a graphical, symbolic language, and is developing a secure programming language.

Nicholas Cumins is Senior Vice President of Solution Management at SAP, responsible for bringing to market a new class of On-Demand solutions for Lines of Business. Through his more than 10 years in the company, in diverse functions like consulting, business development, corporate strategy and product management, and through tenures in multiple countries including France, Germany and USA, Nicholas has championed the need to consider business issues though different lenses to deliver the best possible solutions. He is passionate about delivering ground-breaking and simply useful business software and is a tireless proponent of highly creative and people-centric design thinking combined with strategic focus and pragmatic execution. A native of France, now firmly ensconced in the Silicon Valley, Nicholas holds two Master’s degrees from the University of Paris II Pantheon-Assas, in Law and Business.

Jim Curry is General Manager and Chief Stacker of OpenStack, the recently launched open source cloud computing project. OpenStack was launched based on code contributions from Rackspace and NASA, and currently has nearly 30 companies supporting the project. He is responsible for driving all aspects of the OpenStack initiative, including major partnerships, community-driven development and adoption.

In addition to his current role with OpenStack, Curry is the VP of corporate development at Rackspace and maintains responsibility for the company’s M&A and venture investing activities, including the acquisitions of Webmail.us, Slicehost and Jungle Disk. He also manages strategic product partner alliances for Rackspace, particularly in the areas of cloud computing and applications, and incubating new businesses at the company including the Managed Colocation offering and Hong Kong businesses.

Prior to Rackspace, he spent 15 years in the IT and financial services sector in various new product incubation, corporate development and investing roles. Most recently, he was a senior leader on Dell’s corporate development team. He has also held leadership positions with several other technology startups including Bowstreet and Tivoli, both acquired by IBM. He also was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs and spent several years as a private equity investor.

Dave Cutler is Practice Director at Slalom Consulting. He is responsible for managing Slalom’s national practice for solutions focused on enterprise messaging, unified communications, and collaboration with a particular focus on cloud-based services for these offerings. Cutler brings more than 15 years of technology and consulting expertise to Slalom and has led a broad range of technology and software development projects across a variety of software disciplines, including Business Intelligence, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Customer Relationship Management.

Paul Czarnik is CTO at Compuware. He is what is referred to as a "lifer" at Compuware, having joined the company in 1981 as a contract programmer for the company’s Professional Services organization and - with the exception of a brief 'prodigal' period when he left to start up his own successful software and services company - he has worked his way through many technical and management positions at Compuware en route to his current position as CTO.

A programmer at heart, Czarnik thrives on learning more about the vast and wide-ranging technology industry so that he can directly and immediately apply that knowledge to his work. He’s got an eagle eye trained on delivery and is a proponent of Agile Development. He also believes in working with the Compuware Sales organization, and feels very comfortable having a sales person at his shoulder to share customer feedback and needs. He leads a team of more than a thousand employees who he refers to as "proficient and prolific technicians." This team delivers world-class Compuware products and support to customers around the globe.

Vasanthan Dasan is CTO & EVP of Engineering for Smart Infrastructure services at The Armada Group. He is a recognized expert in cloud technology and virtualization software. Prior to joining Armada, he was a Sun Distinguished Engineer and served as Chief Technologist for Sun's Cloud Computing practice, responsible for Sun Cloud business development with enterprises, telcos and internet service providers. Dasan led Sun’s Cloud Computing unit in the architecture, deployment, operation and transformation of cloud computing practices with hosting services, remote services and virtualization software, working with worldwide customers in US, Europe, China, India, Korea, Singapore and South Africa.

Jnan Dash is Senior Advisor at EZShield Inc., Advisor at ScaleDB and Board Member at Compassites Software Solutions. He has lived in Silicon Valley since 1979. Formerly he was the Chief Strategy Officer (Consulting) at Curl Inc., before which he spent ten years at Oracle Corporation and was the Group Vice President, Systems Architecture and Technology till 2002. He was responsible for setting Oracle's core database and application server product directions and interacted with customers worldwide in translating future needs to product plans. Boyd Davis is a vice president in the Intel Architecture Group, responsible for product and technology marketing for Intel Corporation technology used in data center applications. In this role he is engaged in segment marketing, business management and customer engineering support for Data Center Group products including Intel Xeon processors, Intel Itanium processors, and supporting components and firmware.

Prior to his current position, Davis was director of the Americas Marketing Group within the Intel sales organization where he was responsible for demand creation across Intel product lines in North America and South America. He has also served in a variety of sales and marketing roles at Intel including marketing manager, field sales engineer/account manager and technical sales engineer. Davis joined Intel in 1990.

Margaret Dawson is Vice President of Product Management for Hubspan, Inc, responsible for the overall product vision and roadmap. She has more than 20 years experience in the IT industry, working with leading companies in the network security, semiconductor, personal computer, software, and e-commerce markets, including Microsoft and Amazon.com. Dawson has worked and traveled extensively in Asia, Europe and North America, including ten years working in the Greater China region, consulting with many of Taiwan’s leading IT companies and serving as a foreign correspondent for BusinessWeek Magazine.

Nathan Day is Chief Technology Officer at SoftLayer.

Chris Drumgoole is Senior Vice President of Client Services at Terremark where he has responsibility for customer service, sales enablement and support. Previously, Chris served as SVP Product Development and Engineering. Chris brings over 15 years of technology and financial services IT industry experience to Terremark. He has completed design and architecture work for large retail trading platforms, high traffic consumer web properties, computing / storage grids and other complex systems. Chris has also completed significant work in the area of commercial data center design and operations. His prior experience includes both leadership and technologist positions with the Toronto Dominion Bank, IBM, MasterCard International, Cable & Wireless and Exodus/Savvis. Chris studied Information Systems at Pace University in New York.

Adam Famularo is general manager for CA Technologies’ Cloud Computing, Customer Solutions unit, leading the team that brings to market the company’s cloud computing solutions. In this role, he is responsible for key aspects of the cloud computing businesses, including setting the vision, business strategy, product management, product marketing and driving the overall P&L for the business. Adam is keenly focused on understanding competitors and customers’ needs while determining product and go-to-market requirements.

Adam has held various leadership positions since joining CA Technologies in 1998. Most recently, Adam was senior vice president and general manager for the Recovery Management and Data Modeling business unit, where he led the turnaround of the ARCserve and ERwin product lines by focusing on developing innovative, best-in-class software, hiring the best sales, marketing, development and support team in the industry, and exciting the partner community with new programs and initiatives.

Under Adam’s leadership, the ARCserve product earned more than 30 product accolades and awards by building in data deduplication, virtualization and SRM reporting into the CA ARCserve r12.5 release. He also led the creation of ARCserve.com, a dedicated website on storage solutions that receives more than 2,000 hits a day and created 50,000 partner leads in its first year. Most importantly, Adam realigned the sales and marketing teams and reengineered the product development process to deliver ongoing product innovation on a yearly basis. He has been recognized as a Channel Chief for the last two years by Everything Channel’s CRN publication.

Earlier, Adam served as vice president of global channel strategy and partnerships, responsible for channel strategy, programs and global partnerships. He also managed CA Technologies’ global OEM division, ERwin channel sales division and inside channel sales organization.

Adam completed the general management program at Harvard Business School, earned a master of business administration degree from Dowling College and has a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.

Jay Fry is Vice President, Strategy & Business Development for CA Technologies’ Cloud Customer Solutions Unit and part of the team responsible for the company’s cloud computing strategy. He has over 20 years of experience in marketing, strategy, and management for innovative enterprise software companies. Prior to CA, Fry was vice president of marketing at cloud computing start-up Cassatt and founded the marketing department at BEA Systems, Inc. (now part of Oracle). He spent three of his 10 years at BEA running the company's European marketing program(me)s from London. He has also held marketing roles at systems management start-up EcoSystems Software (now part of Compuware), in Oracle's Applications Division, and in Sun’s Federal Division.

Philip Gavlan’s role in GoGrid is to manage customer accounts from a technical aspect. He aids customers by understanding their IT needs and translating those needs into an infrastructure that utilizes the cloud. James Korotney holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where he concentrated on the application of analytic methods and geometric modeling in CAD systems. Jason Lochhead is responsible for the technological development of Terremark’s hosting services. Ignacio M. Llorente, Ph.D in Computer Science and Executive MBA, is a Full Professor in Computer Architecture and Technology, and the Head of the Distributed Systems Architecture Research Group at Complutense University of Madrid. He has held several appointments as an independent expert for the European Commission (Information Society and Media Directorate-General); visiting positions at the Institute for Computer Applications in Science and Engineering (NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA); consultancy positions with Sun Microsystems; and a Senior Researcher position in the Advanced Computing Lab at CAB (associated to NASA Astrobiology Institute).

He has 17 years of experience in research and development of advanced distributed computing and virtualization technologies, architecture of large-scale distributed infrastructures and resource provisioning platforms, and management of international projects and initiatives on Grid and Cloud computing; having led the research group in 15 sponsored projects; and having published more than 130 scientific papers in the leading journals and proceedings books.

He is currently co-leading the R&D of the OpenNebula Virtual Infrastructure Engine, the Globus GridWay Metascheduler, and the Grid4Utility initiative for federation of Grids. Mark has over 20 years experience as a software professional working at several prominent software companies in Silicon Valley including Ashton Tate, Intuit, Vantive, as well as several successful start-ups. His career includes positions as a User Interface Architect, Solutions Consultant and Sales Engineer and has worked on a variety of successful B2C and Enterprise software projects. Currently a member of the Sales Engineering team at InfiniteGraph and Objectivity, he provides product solutions for customers in both traditional on-premise and cloud environments. Mike Mayo is the mobile apps developer for Rackspace. He built the Rackspace Cloud and Slicehost mobile apps, and he's currently managing the OpenStack Client projects for the web, iPhone, iPad, and Android platforms. He also regularly contributes to various open source projects in the cloud and mobile spaces. When Mike's not coding, he's hard at work with his smoker perfecting his skills in the art and science of barbecue.

Jamal Mazhar is Founder & CEO of Kaavo. He possesses more than 15 years of experience in technology, engineering and consulting with a range of Fortune 500 companies including GE and ING. He established ING’s “Center of Excellence for B2B” which streamlined $2 billion per month in electronic money transfer operations. As Lead Architect at GE Capital e-Business team, Mazhar directed analysis and implementation efforts and improved the performance of the website generating more than $1 billion in annual lease revenues. At Trilogy he provided technical and managerial expertise for several large scale e-business implementation projects for companies such as Boeing, NCR, Gartner, British Airways, Quantas Airways and Alltel.

Previously, David was senior vice president at SAP responsible for the business intelligence (BI) and emerging technologies portfolio of products.

David brings a startup sensibility and relentless execution to this mission. Previously, he was vice president of BEA Systems where he was responsible for product management, program management, and technical publications for the Business Interaction Division (BID). Prior to BEA, David helped create Plumtree Software, inventing and creating the business portal market.

David holds a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington.

John Michelsen is co-Founder and “Chief Geek” at iTKO. He has over twenty years of experience as a technical leader at all organization levels, designing, developing, and managing large-scale, object-oriented solutions in traditional and network architectures. He is the chief architect of iTKO's LISA cloud virtualization and testing product and a leading industry advocate for efficient software development and quality. Before forming iTKO, Michelsen was Director of Development at Trilogy Inc., and VP of Development at AGENCY.COM. He has been titled Chief Technical Architect at companies like Raima, Sabre, and Xerox while performing as a consultant. Through work with clients like Cendant Financial, Microsoft, American Airlines, Union Pacific and Nielsen Market Research, he has deployed solutions using technologies from the mainframe to the handheld device.

Mårten Mickos is CEO of Eucalyptus Systems. From 2001-8 he was CEO of MySQL AB, which was then bought by Sun. In September 2009 he become Entrepreneur in Residence at Benchmark Capital. He joined Eucalyptus as CEO in March 2010.

Catherine Minter is President of Cordys Americas. She is responsible for Americas P&L, and delivering solutions for companies dealing with the complex task of addressing business transformation challenges in organizations through systems innovation, reducing costs while increasing agility. Catherine brings 18 years of technology and software industry experience to this rapidly growing organization. Prior to joining Cordys, Cathy was VP of SAP’s Enterprise Accounts and built a fast-paced team, where she successfully moved SAP into the mid-market Communications and Manufacturing sectors. Prior to SAP, Cathy held various Strategic Sales Positions within Oracle’s Communications Industry.

John Monson is VP of marketing at Mellanox Technologies. He Mellanox March 2009 and has over 20 years of experience in engineering, marketing and sales with leading edge technology companies. Previously, he was vice president of marketing and business development for Inphi Corporation where he managed the EDC/PhyOptik business line. Prior to this, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Scintera Networks with responsibility for strategy, product marketing and business development. His background also includes 8 years at PMC-Sierra in executive and senior management positions in marketing and sales where he was instrumental in establishing PMC in the market and enabling the company’s growth.

Eric Moore currently acts as Chief Architect and principal consultant for HP Software, focusing on cloud computing architectures using the former Opsware suite. Previously he was lead consultant for the BSA (Opsware) product suite, and his background is in data center automation, information security, and medical information systems. He is an organizer of the UP 2010 cloud computing conference, and has spoken at past cloud computing and security conferences. In his spare time Moore helps run HTINK, a social enterprise offering classes and free workshops on technology for adults and children in New York City.

Chris Morgan is Sr. Product Manager of the Cloud Business Unit at Red Hat. He has over 16 years experience in various arenas of systems management and supporting technology and has held a variety of positions including support, development, consulting, product management, product marketing, and sales engineering roles. His current interests include evolving the Red Hat Cloud Ecosystem with Cloud Providers and ISVs and facilitating cross-cloud management as the ecosystem evolves.

Scott Morrison is the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect at Layer 7 Technologies, providing the visionary innovation and technical direction for the company. He has extensive technical and scientific experience in a number of industries and universities, including senior architect positions at IBM. He is one of the four co-editors for the WS-I Basic Security Profile. Scott is a much sought-after author and speaker. He has published over 50 book chapters, magazine articles, and papers in medical, physics, and engineering journals and is co-author of the university textbook "Cloud Computing: Principles, Systems and Applications" published by Springer-Verlag. Scott has recently spoken at more than 70 shows around the world, including InfoWorld, JavaOne, GigaOm STRUCTURE, SOA World, Gartner and IDC conferences.

Lou Najdzin, Director, Global Cloud & IT Services

Najdzin is an IT Services industry veteran with a broad industry background that ranges from leading hosting and network lines of business to business development in specific vertical markets such as finance. He is responsible for driving the growth of the Cloud Infrastructure and IT Services market at Equinix. Prior to joining Equinix, Najdzin was a Business Development Executive in Hewlett-Packard’s Enterprise Services Business Unit focused on Outsourcing opportunities within the Capital Markets industry. Before joining HP, he led Product Management, Product Marketing, Business Solutions and Offer Development at Savvis for both the Network and Hosting lines of business. Prior to joining Savvis, Najdzin was at Global Crossing where he was responsible for Business Planning and Development for its Global Carrier Division. Prior to Global Crossing, he was a Senior Consultant for Telwares, Inc., the CFO for the Foreign Exchange business unit at American Express, and held various positions at both AT&T and Lucent in Professional Services, Product Management, International Operations, Offer Development, and Finance.
